For this particular project, we created a series of Eglomise reverse paintings on glass for the Gông bar at Shangri-La Hotel, The Shard London. You will find a total of twelve exquisite glass screens, encapsulating traditional Eastern elements such as landscapes, birds and flowers. These motifs are delicately painted onto glass using gold and silver leaf gilding. Playing with the transparency and negative spaces used in traditional Chinese art, these stylish screens give an eclectic touch to the British interior.
